The Natural Capital Finance Alliance (NCFA) is the former name of a partnership between Global Canopy, the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), and the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC), now called the Encore Partnership. Together, they developed a free online tool to help organizations understand their environmental impacts—ENCORE.

21-22 November, Edinburgh – World Forum on Natural Capital

Ivo Mulder of UNEP FI, one of the convenors of the Natural Capital Declaration, will speak at sessions on finance during the World Forum on Natural Capital from 21-22 November in Edinburgh.

 

Participants of the ‘Natural Capital and the Financial Sector’ stream will explore questions such as: What tools does the financial sector need in order to make natural capital accounting possible? Why integrate social and environmental impacts in financial reporting? And how has the financial sector responded to the challenge since Rio+20?
