The Natural Capital Finance Alliance (NCFA) is the former name of a partnership between Global Canopy, the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), and the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC), now called the Encore Partnership. Together, they developed a free online tool to help organizations understand their environmental impacts—ENCORE.

Responsible Investor Europe 2016

The 9th annual RI Europe conference, titled ‘Investing in the future’, takes place in London in June. 500+ investment professionals will be present at Europe’s leading annual responsible investment conference focusing on responsible investment, ESG and sustainable finance for institutional investors.

Natural Capital Declaration Programme Head Liesel van Ast will moderate the breakout panel ‘Water stress: a deeply under-exposed investment risk’. The NCD is carrying out pioneering work in this field. This includes the Corporate Bonds Water Credit Risk Tool (https://www.naturalcapitalfinancealliance.org/bonds-water-scarcity/) and stress-testing of drought risk and the influence of water security on investment risk. This panel discussion promises to bring together key actors in this space to deliver insightful and informative conversation.
